AllStar HomeBuyers is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Have Taken
AllStar HomeBuyers takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as a design requirement for all site updates
- Provide text alternatives for all non-text content (images, icons)
- Maintain minimum 4.5:1 color contrast ratios for all body text
- Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
- Provide skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
- Use semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) for screen reader navigation
- Associate all form inputs with descriptive labels
- Provide live-region announcements for dynamic form status changes
- Respect the user's
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting - Ensure the site is navigable without a mouse or touch screen
